Adoption Update: B-Rad

B-Rad’s Big Adventure: Zoomies, Windows & Winning Hearts 💙

B-Rad—also known as Be-Be, Bee, Beans, and about a dozen other adorable nicknames—has officially settled into his forever home, and it’s safe to say… he’s living his best life 😄

This energetic boy has full run of the house and the basement, which means plenty of space for what can only be described as full-speed galloping. Zoomies? Oh yes. B-Rad has mastered them.

One of his absolute favorite pastimes is window watching. Thanks to his family keeping the yard lively with squirrels and birds, B-Rad enjoys a daily “menagerie” of entertainment right from the comfort of his favorite perch 🐦🐿️ It’s basically his version of morning cartoons!

When it comes to playtime, B-Rad is all in:

  • Corkscrew toys? ✔️

  • Cat cube? ✔️

  • Feather wand? ✔️

  • Motorized hide-and-seek butterfly? A household staple 🦋✨

This boy has energy for days—and he’s putting it to very good use.

Like many cats, sleep schedules are still a bit of a work in progress (nighttime zoomies, anyone?), but little by little, he’s starting to sync up with his humans. Progress, not perfection!

Around the three-week mark, B-Rad really started to show his true, happy self—just like the classic “rule of threes” predicts. With that comfort came a few learning moments too. His family discovered that catnip isn’t quite his thing—it made him a bit overstimulated and nippy. But with some quick adjustments (goodbye catnip toys, hello calmer playtime!), he’s already made great strides.

It’s clear how much love and patience are guiding him every step of the way 💛

His family shared something we absolutely adore:
They celebrate every little win.

Every time B-Rad moves past an old habit, it’s a moment of joy—and that’s exactly what helping a pet grow is all about.

And most importantly?
He is so very loved.

We couldn’t be happier to see B-Rad thriving, playing, learning, and filling his home with energy and personality.

Thank you to his amazing family for giving this sweet, spirited boy the space and love he deserves—and for sharing photos of him “in action” (we can only imagine the zoomies caught on camera 📸😄).
