Adoption Update: Vivi & Johnny (now Livy and Kaiba)

Some cats take a little time to settle into a new routine—but once they do, they truly make themselves at home. That’s exactly the case for Livy (fka Vivi) and Kaiba (fka Johnny), who are thriving with their adopter and living the cozy indoor cat dream. 💛

Livy and Kaiba have fully embraced life with their family. They still enjoy the same food they were eating at the time of adoption, and these days they spend their nights either:

• Sleeping with their humans on the bed 💤

• Curling up together on top of their giant cat tree 🐱🐱

When they first came home, they spent lots of time sleeping during the day and roaming around at night—but now they’ve adjusted beautifully to the household routine. In fact, they’ve become little bedtime managers themselves, meowing at their humans if they think everyone is staying up too late! 😄

Kaiba’s favorite activity is clear: laser pointer time. He’s fascinated by moving lights and reflections, even chasing sunlight bouncing off a phone onto the wall. His playful energy and curiosity keep things entertaining around the house.

Livy has a calmer style. While she enjoys batting balls around and using her scratching post, she’s especially fond of relaxing in the afternoon sunshine. The pair love spending time together near the back door, soaking up warm sunbeams and cuddling side by side.

From nighttime routines to sunny afternoon naps, Livy and Kaiba have clearly found comfort, companionship, and happiness in their forever home. We love hearing how well they’ve adjusted and how connected they are with their family—and with each other.
