2025 Wrapped!

2025 was another wild ride! We are holding steady with adoptions, and like every other rescue and shelter, intake (and requests for intake) is always a challenge. We were fortunate to have very willing and open foster homes last year to help not only cats from DuPage County Animal Services, but more strays and owner surrenders! We are also so thankful for our great relationship with DCAS and the wonderful care they give all pets that come through their doors.

However, none of the work that we do would be possible without the true dedication and love of our amazing volunteers! Adding in more in-person volunteers, and more virtual help, helps make us a stronger, more purposeful group in assisting cats in need in our area (and their families). Our wonderful donors, whether their contributions are monetary or in sorely needed materials like food and litter, are the force that keeps us going and enables us to help needier cats and take on bigger challenges every day.

In 2026, we strive to continue to support cats and people in DuPage county, keeping our efforts local and intentional!
