Donations Always Appreciated!

If you would like to make a monetary donation, please click the PayPal logo below to make a safe and secure donation directly to us. Money will be used to help give the best care to our cats through vet visits and check ups, shelter life enrichment, and additional treats and food (especially for picky eaters!).

If you’d like to donate items directly, please visit our Amazon Wishlist for items that both foster cats as well as cats housed at our space in PetSmart can use to enrich their lives while they are in our care.

If you choose Chicagoland Animal Rescue, NFP as your designated charity on smile.amazon.com, a percentage of your purchase total on eligible items, without a cost to you, will come back to us. It is an easy way, at no cost to you, to help us continue to take in and care for cats in need.

Donations of various kinds are always accepted, including: food for foster cats, toys (no hazardous parts please), crates, carriers (hard sided and/or top loaders preferred), etc. If you are a crafty person, we can always use your skills to make carrier pads for each adoption, crafts for our fundraising sales, people with fundraising/marketing experience and ideas, or maybe you have a great talent we haven’t thought of using yet!

In addition, any monetary donations will be used to care for our existing cats and pay our vet bill, and this allows us to continue rescuing felines in need. Please ask any of our volunteers or adoption counselors if you have questions.

C.A.R. is looking for volunteers (21 years old or older, please) to help during the day, in the evenings, on weekends, or to be a foster home. Schedules are flexible, but you must be able to commit to a rotation.   Even if you can only volunteer a few hours every couple weeks or once a month, we would love to have you! Please visit PetSmart and talk to an adoption counselor to get more information on shifts we’re looking to fill, requirements to volunteer, and to complete a volunteer application.

We are almost always looking for regular volunteers, even if your commitment can only be a few hours a month.

Please send us an e-mail or stop by PetSmart if you are willing to lend a hand. Spending time with these precious cats is one of the most gracious things you could do!

Thank you for helping us continue our mission of helping and saving cats in need!
